Coming September 24-26, 2010 The Fredericksburg Arts Commission announces the first annual Fredericksburg Via Colori. Via Colori is the modern day version of a centuries-old tradition in which dozens of volunteer artists create large scale pastel artworks directly on the pavement of our city's streets. Each square is sponsored by a business, organization or other entity, and proceeds after expenses will be used towards arts based education programs in our community. Performing artists will be featured as guest entertainment with plenty of opportunity for market areas for all arts as well. For more information: Visit Via Colori Fredericksburg or contact suehenderson@earthlink.net |
| The mission of the Fredericksburg Arts Commission (Arts Commission) is to enrich lives of the Fredericksburg area residents by promoting, expanding, and supporting the Arts and arts organizations. |
| The Arts Commission meets the first Thursday of every month at 7 PM in the second floor conference room at City Hall.* All of the Arts Commission meetings are open to the public. *Subject to change. Please check the calendar on the City's Web site for any updates. |
